Heading Home

My time in Georgia nears its end. I leave the newspaper in about 2 hours to drive up to Atlanta (another 2 hours) to make it through airport security and await boarding (another 2 hours) and fly home to Detroit (another 2 hours).

Something I've forgotten about installation and training for my company is how much mental exhaustion follows it. By the end of the day I'm so fragged I just want to sleep.

Which is my way of explaining that I haven't written a word in two days.

Tomorrow morning should go better. Wife is doing her Saturday gymnastics thingy, so I'll have time in front of the computer to knock out the rest of this current chapter.
