Pretty good weekend. I knocked out 30 pages on the rewrite between Friday and Sunday. Nine pages short of my weekend goal and the 67,500 goal set for the Novel In 90. If I'm lucky I can rewrite the last three pages (which I wasn't happy with, not at all), and keep up my pace for the last four weeks. The existing pages I'm rewriting and the material I want to add onto the end probably amount to another 67k. It's possible, since this is a rewrite, but I'm sure I'll experience some post-novel ennui come April.
The other weekend tasks went well. Got the federal taxes done. State takes less time and I wrote rather than finish those last night. And volleyball registration follows a good system, so I was home by 8 p.m. Only bad spot was learning I had missed the districts on Saturday. Thought they were scheduled for this coming weekend. It's not all bad, though. Pioneer won the district. First time ever. So while I couldn't see the victory, I'm happy for the girls.
Revised down from the original 150,000, though I'll let the book have its head at the end and it will run as long as it needs.
