Fallen Rewrite - Week 11

I dropped the total down to 125,000. I've cut more than I added during the week and I'm only two pages ahead on this rewrite. That's even with the new chapter I added way back when.

I should finish the current chapter by the end of the day Tuesday. I'm getting into the territory where I want to rework some of the story. The rewrite stands at 366 pages. One week's left in Novel In 90, and there are 14 days until Easter Sunday. So everything is still looking good. I just may not post much next week when I'm in the final stretch. :-)

LOL. You're so bubbly that it's infectious. :-)

The problem isn't going to be finishing. Luckily, I've done that once before on a novel when I had everything right. And I've probably said it before, the issue is finding an agent or editor who wants to accept it. There are so many variables you don't control as a writer you've just got to keep hacking away until you hit the right timing.

I tell my daughters that you don't get anything handed to you if you don't show up/step forward.

So, you think I'm infectious... *grins*

I'm all about the showing up and step on forward approach. I tell my children the same sort of things. If you don't ask, you won't get, if you don't try, it won't happen. Don't hedge around things, just be forward with what you want and need.

Publishing, editors and agents... All things that require determination, dedication and luck to get at.
