Question

Submission sent to Asimov's was rejected. What are the odds that it was looked at by editor at Analog since they virtually have the same mailing address. Do Sheila and Stanley every collaborate on things to cut down on consideration time or do they share first readers?

I only ask because September's end is so far away and I'd hate to trundle "Romeo, Unbound" off to WotF without trying another market first. If I missed the 9/30 deadline, there's always a new quarter.

If you submitted the story to Asimov's, it wasn't seen by Stan Schmidt. They don't share slush piles, and it makes sense to try the story at the other magazine.

Thanks. Sub is in the mail as I write this. Can't sell if I don't sub. :-)
